Beroda is one of the 
Indian princily states. It lies in the western India bordering 
Kutch, 
Indore, 
Mewar and 
Jodhpur. It is a puppet of 
United Kingdom and therefore it cannot engage in war on its own. That makes it hard to westernize as conquest is usually the most effective way to westernize.
If the country is controlled by the AI, it can be annexed by the event The Doctrine of Lapse. There is not anything the country can do to prevent it. However it cannot happen when the country is player-comtrolled.
Beroda holds cores on a single province which UK controls at the start of the game: Ahmedabad. If Beroda actually manages to achieve full independence, they might retake them either by crisis or conquest.
