This is the documentation page for Template:Gloss.

When it is viewed directly, links using variables may appear broken; do not replace these with hardcoded page names or URLs.

This template immediately gives glossary entries the appropriate formatting. The template should go after a bullet point and should not be followed by a colon. The only parameter is the term being defined.
