The percentage of the POP type {{icon|officers}}[[officers]] of the total population affect how many leadership points a nation gets pr. month. The cap is 3 leadership points pr. month, which is achieved if 0.2% of the population is officers.

Generals and admirals can be assigned manually through each stack, or it can be assigned to be done automatically in the military tab. When done automatically leaders will be assigned at random. If it is left to be done automatically, one can choose leaders that should not be used to sort out the really bad ones.
