Cyprus is an island north of 
Egypt releaseable from the 
Ottoman Empire . It is so small that even 
Greece seems like a superpower. Greece has cores on Cyprus so a Greek invasion is a game long threat until Cyprus manage to become strong enough to discourage Greece.
Unable to field even a single unit once released, it would take a skilled player, good allies, and a lot of luck to claim any land for this island nation.
The only RGO on the island is 
, which can be used for a 
winery, but 
coal for 
glass is lacking.
It does however have one thing going for it. It has both Turkish and Greek as an accepted culture, which makes it a bit easier to hold newly conquered land.
